Overview

Kotoba JLPT does not require an account. The app does not contain advertising or third-party behavioral tracking.

Study data

Your settings, scores, lesson progress, and spaced-review history are stored locally on your device. This study data is not transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data, subject to any device backups managed by Apple.

Lesson content and network access

Lesson content is bundled with the app and can be used offline. An internet connection is required for App Store purchase and restoration functions and may be required to confirm purchase entitlement.

Purchases

If you purchase the full-app unlock, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store. Kotoba JLPT uses RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlement and restoration. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase-related information, transaction identifiers, app identifiers, device information, and an anonymous app user identifier as necessary to provide those services. We do not receive your payment-card details.

This support website is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs when serving these pages. See GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Children's privacy

Kotoba JLPT does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated if the app's features or service providers change. The latest version will remain available on this page.
